Unit 4
Series of 4
My idea for this piece, was to throw four unique, but identical looking cups, and paint them all different colors. I started with just making all the cups and let them dry, then I glazed the first 2 and put them in kilm, but I dropped one of the four so I was only able to complete those two cups.

Handles on a Piece
So I know that I did this piece, I have no idea where the final product went, I don't have a picture of it. But this picture is of when I started it. It was fun to throw something big like this.
Lidded Box
This is my lidded box, this was a pretty easy piece, I just cut out the shapes from a slab and slip and scored them all together.
Monster Piece
The monster was pretty simple, I just created a pinch pot with my hands, added individual teeth, the arms and the eyes, it was difficult though because it was super fragile, and a couple limbs broke off.
Poem inspired piece
This piece was inspired by Evens poems, talking about the season and day and night, so I created a vase sort of slab dart piece. And added a full grown lushus tree in the day for summer, and a tree with no leaves at night for fall.
2d master work turned 3d
This was inspired of a abstract piece of a hand and I just took the hand out of it and created that, it was very difficult to make look realistic.
